Rainbow Egg

Is the Rainbow Egg (loot from the Cluckatrice) used for anything? Or can I sell it for precious precious gil?

I always keep one of every item of Loot in my inventory, just because I like seeing it there. I’m at around 55 hours into the game and I haven’t come across any use for it yet.

Yeah, you can sell the rainbow egg because you are able to get plenty more of them from regular foes later in the game.

Basically, sell anything but Teleport Stones in your loot inventory.
They arent used for anything else, just cash and bazzar items. 🙂

Not true! You shouldn’t sell the Great Serpentskin — it’s needed later! And there are a few others as well that shouldn’t be sold.

And Gysahl Greens are useful too if you want to ride wild chocobos.

Hmm…I havent noticed, I could have sworn you sold everything else.
Except Gyshal too, but I only use chocobos when needed.

You do not need it for the barheim key. You can get that whether you have teh serpentskin or not. You need the cactus flower from the flowering cactoid mark to get the key.

O right, i just remember her askin for it when i was doin the key mini quest thing, and i remember seeing it posted somewhere as well.
