Morbid Urn

Hello everyone,

I have been registered on this site for awhile and until now, have just been reading all the helpful posts. Needless to say, marvelous job people.

Anyway, I just sold a bunch of loot and this bazaar item called the "morbid urn" appeared under the bazaar goods list. Now, my issue is that I need like 150,000 for all the "Forgotten Grimoires" and 30000 for that reversal thingy.

After all that is said and done, this "morbid urn" costs 250,000!!! Can someone tell me what it is and if it’s worth it?

The morbid urn (canopy jar i believe its actual name is) increases the chance that an enemy will drop an arcana when it dies. These are used in item recipes for the bazaar. I dont know the exact combinations of items they go with though, check gamefaqs.com for a complete list.

Sounds good — I’ll put this on priority whenever it becomes available.

To get the jar, you need to sell 3 pieces of loot that you get from 3 different marks. I think one comes from Trickster, potentially one from Orthros (not sure), and Gil Snapper, I think as well. If I am wrong, can someone post the correct ones please.

The three items you need are:

Phobos Glaze
Horakhty’s Flame
Deimos Clay

I know one of em comes from the gil snapper and one from othros but i dont know which comes from which, nor do i know where the other comes from lol. I remember looking it up on gamefaqs but i dont remember the specifics anymore. o_O

Interesting — I think I have at least two of those three.

The Great is correct you get the Flame from Orthros, Phobos Glaze from Gil Snapper, and the Clay from Trickster. A good site for mark hunts is http://twobrothersandasister.com/?p=332

you know, i’m not sure why you would want it since it increases the chance of getting High Arcana. That only sells for 20 gil, which sucks! (however, i’m going to buy it cause i need to have everything! but i’m a bit upset it only drops high arcana, you would think the designers would make it ALWAYS drop rare items since it costs so much to get)

When you said ‘canopy jar’, I think you meant, CANOPIC jar. I might be wrong, haven’t gotten that far yet. The reason? Recieved FFXII as a Christmas gift.
