Gitaroo-Man Lives! (Bonus track rips)

Since most of GML is a port of the original Gitaroo-Man, for the tracks that aren’t included in this post I recommend getting the OST.

However, there was two bonus tracks and two tracks which had been translated into English from the Japanese originals. I rip them, because they are awesome, and everyone should own Metal Header because it’s about a giant robot destroying things.

BONUS TRACKS

Metal Header (http://www.filelodge.com/files/room50/1454851/Metal_Header.mp3) – "You cannot defeat me! I am stronger than you!" Believe it or not, it’s not actually metal – more a pop-type thing with rapped vocals and grungy guitars. I admit I normally hate that sort of music, but this song makes me ridiculously happy and was what inspired me to share.
Toda Pasiòn (http://www.filelodge.com/files/room50/1454851/Toda_Pasion.mp3) – a rather brilliant cha-cha track and so catchy you’ll be humming it for weeks – I love the tom-tom solos. I wonder what the lyrics mean…anyone here able to enlighten me?

ENGLISH TRACKS

21 (http://www.filelodge.com/files/room50/1454851/21%20%28english%20ver%29.mp3) – still prefer the Japanese version, but the singer is so Engrish you barely notice. It starts a little late, because I ripped it directly from the end credits and the ending FMV kind of blurs into the song – I added a fade in, to prevent it just randomly cutting in, but this was really the best I could do. Sorry.

Flyin’ To Your Heart (http://www.megaupload.com/?d=8LHCZKE3) – I much prefer the Japanese version, in this instance. However, this version is infinitely easier to sing along to.

As far as I’m aware, it doesn’t exist, hence the rippery.

The first three links come up as awful ASFs for me. Can you please upload these in a zip file on Megaupload as mp3s? I do love me some Gitarooman, and I am immensely enjoying the English version of Flying To Your Heart. 😀

What’s an ASF?

‘Advanced Systems Format (formerly "Advanced Streaming Format"), a Microsoft streaming format associated with Windows Media Player.’

Maybe it’s just my browser not working with File Lodge. I shall try downloading them in IE.

Edit: Nope. Downloading from IE has similar results.

It seems to work fine for me in Firefox. Hmm…This is an unspeakably stupid question, but you did right-click Save Link As the files?

Yep. It simply saved the files as "ASF". Directly opening them causes WMP to open (ugh). So, yeah, I dunno what’s up there. I’d rather not download Firefox, as 2 browsers is more than enough (I use Opera).

can anyone rehost them? the megaupload thing isnt working

Hey, I was just wondering, what was the original source for these songs being downloaded? If it was ripped from the game, then that means that someone had to play it perfectly, right? But then, how come there are no voices from the characters?

Edit: By the way, can someone post a link to the song so that I can put it up on my facebook?
