Finally, the Virtual Console is worth it

Castlevania IV for SNES is one of my favorite games on that system, and generally speaking, this is without question the best list of games Nintendo has released on VC Monday.

Edit: I’m not sure if i’m going to pick up Castlevania IV; I haven’t really gotten into any of the Castlevania games i’ve played. They just seem like pretty boring platformers to me 🙁

I will say that was my first and favorite Castlevania. Way to use Mode-7.

Castlevania IV is a great game, and it’s backed up by a wonderful soundtrack. I’m hoping it sounds exactly the same on the Wii as it did the SNES, and I’ll be able to try it out with my new Virtual Console controller that I managed to find out I’m getting that same day too 😀

The only Castlevania I enjoyed was Symphony of the Night.
