Anima and the Temple

Does anyone know why I cant get back into to the temples? When I went to the underwater cave thing for Anima, all the spheres lit up except the far left, in other words the Besaid sphere. Then I try getting back in the temple and some little lady is telling me that I will be caught by the monks, this is stopping me from getting Anima and Yuna’s sigil from Belgiume. Any ideas?

Are you playing the international version?

No I’m playing the US version. And for the record, I’m doing this after I defeated Yunalesca, basically I’m getting ready for the fight with Sin.

Did you go back to Zanarkand’s temple a second time and do the thing with the white squares? That’s the one that seems to be missed a lot, mainly because for some strange reason I don’t think it’s triggered until you try to go in the Anima temple and fail. It’s probably the Zanarkand sphere not lighting, not the Besaid.

I’ve done the Zanarkand Temple one. I actually looked it up on a walkthrough and it is in fact the Besaid Temple. But I dunno why they arent letting me in. Stupid monks. =\

Are you sure? Because I got back in, just by going back to Besaid Island. No guards or anything.

Wait, did you go to the Highwind yet?

Yeah, before that event you can’t get into any temple.

yea same here maybe you forgot to do something in the game im not sure though

I confirm, really. If you haven’t already (and you probably have by now) hotfoot it over to the Highbridge and your monk problem will vanish before your eyes once you take care of the scenes there.

I agree with Agent0042 here. I had similar problems until I did that, then I had another problem with Dark Valefor lol. Fortunately the Dark Aeons aren’t in the US version

Trust me, you don’t, they’re a pain if you haven’t done enough. Especially if you need the Besaid sphere and Dark Valefor is a pain in the ass if you’ve not got high enough stats like I didn’t have lol. Had to start the game again.

but nothing was challenging in FFX, except for Seymour Flux (which everyone had trouble with) Yunalesca and Overdrive Sin (the first time through). And now everything’s easy. I just want a challenge. Maybe I should try the monster arena. I heard the monsters there were hard.

Waaaait I remeber fighting dark aeons to get to Yu Yevon, I think, but I never met Penance that’s it I’m replaying FFX, international version I’m tired of getting screwed out of stressful fun.

lol you do battle the Dark Aeons to get to Yu Yevon but you can’t die in the battle, you’ve got permanent auto-life on. In the proper Dark Aeon battles you haven’t. Zanmato is very useful, only problem is, you have to fight Dark Yojimbo about 6 times, and Dark Ixion twice. Then again Ixion is one of the easier ones.
