look carefully

Where im running through that area the game makes that brief pause and makes just a slight bit of loading noise. When I walk through that area the game doesnt slow down but it makes just the slightest loading noise. This also happens on the field maps. Is this just the map loading some or is it a CD problem, but this problem affects all three of my discs. Is this normal? This is on PS1 by the way.

I’m pretty sure that was the most pointless video I have ever witnessed on YouTube.

PS1’s are an ageing breed and it’s highly likely that the noises it is making are the result of it being old, and nothing more.

i’d have to concurr with Jarosik…i haven’t touched my original PS console in ages…and i wouldn’t be surprised if this happened on ANY game that i’d try to play

The same happens when I play any of my PS1 games on my PS2. It is very common. Try getting a disc cleaning kit, as it’s more likely to be your disc that has the problem.

apparently ps1’s were powered by small rodents running in a wheel hidden inside (which also doubled as a disk spinning mechanism).
maybe you should feed him.

or just accept that your ps1 is on the brink just like my ps2 is conveniently 6 months before the ps3 comes out. ho hum, guess ill have to go waste a weeks wages on a slimline ps2 just so i can play my new copy of ff8 that i bought after my old one got sold by a supposed friend.

damn it…i hate it when that happends…my "mate" put all 3 discs for FFVII in the same compartment and they had big circluar rings around it, then the same guy sold my FFIX for weed – as did he sell my Overboard game!! (i loved that game!!)

I mustave got through at least 2 copies of 7 and 8

Why do you think this person that made one post several months ago and has not been seen since will suddenly come back to look at this thread no one has posted in for months? Don’t revive old threads.
