I am disappointed with the crap that is accepted into museums as "Art". Mostly modern art. When I go into the modern art section of a museum, I usually see what appears to be pieces of trash glued together or chunks of metal welded together. Or I see a cup full of urine with a crucifix in it. I once saw what appeared to be a gigantic slipper taking up space in the modern art section at a museum. Please tell me what you think of most modern art or any kind of art. The only kind of modern art I like is glass art.

I think…. you should stop the production of threads. Go make babies or something.

and by the way, any type of art is what anybody wants it to be. It’s put there for our viewing regardless of if we enjoy it or not. People interpret things differently, as does the artist who deems it art. If you’re so disappointed, make your own.

Besides, a gigantic slipper would be pretty cool.

WHAT YOU ARE DESCRIBING IS NOT MODERN ART!! IT’S POST MODERN!!! JEEZ! And stop referring to contemporary art as modern art.

There is very little difference between modern art and contemporary art.

oh my friggin god!!! Stop typing!! oh my god, throw out your keyboard for humanity’s sake!!!! Cut off your hands!! What the hell did you just typed??

Modern art, for example, is like Toulouse’s Moulin Rouge. Post-modern art (contemporary) is like Andy Warhols work. There’s like a fucking 100 year timegap. You can tell the differance between modern and post-modern with your eyes closed!!!!!

although they have common grouds they are pretty much opposites!

Don’t you ever walk into a museum again.

Man, where’s Jarosik’s G.T.F.O. image when you need it? 🙁

I love Warhol. I’ve seen some of his work first hand in a local museum and I really enjoy it.

About a year ago, (Wow, I just checked the date and it happened November 18th, pretty close) the museum was robbed and one of Warhol’s paintings was stolen ("Le Grande Passion"), along with Pollock’s.("Springs Winter") Good thing it wasn’t the one I liked, though I’ve been searching around and I can’t find the damn name or picture of the good one >_<
