FFV Advance~

So I picked up the game today. It’s the first time I’ve played Final Fantasy V, and what better way to start than on arguably the best version of the game? So anyways, I’m a couple of hours in and I’m still adjusting to the job system and what not. Any talk about the game can go here.

I heard they only added 2 new jobs….not sure i wanna shell out $30 for the gba version or just beat the ps1 version again. RIP GALUF

They added four, along with updated graphics, enhanced music and dialogue, an extra dungeon or two, etc. And don’t tell me any spoilers.

Squeenix finally gave this game the justice it deserved over here. The only real gripe I have with this version is the character portraits. There are a couple of decent ones, but the rest look like they suffer from albinism. I think Lenna’s is among the worst. It looks like that earring is so heavy that it’s making her earlobe stretch. Other than that, this game made a very clean transition to the GBA.

I’ll be picking this up either next week or December. I can’t wait for it. I’ve only played FFV once and I didn’t do everything in it, so a replay is way overdue.

I don’t care much for the new script and honestly I prefer the psx music but overall its good, The new job classes are really cool too.

I’m surprised this is the first veriosn you’ve played Smokey. It is the best one, I hope Chrono Trigger(with new animations) is after VI because the PSX loading times suck alot.

ive got this on the psone and liked it, however i got stuck in some mountainous area.
I actually could not find an exit to the area.

I really love some of the music in this. That pirate theme is awesome.

But i still have the file.
