That’s an interesting question. Lemme do some checking on that… (You know, I’m starting to think maybe it would just be a good idea to save some of these scripts to my hard drive…)
I think it’s kinda sketchy. My guess is that he washed up near Winhill and then he was taken in and nursed back to health. As for Shumi Village, I believe he made his way there while he was doing reporting for the Timber Maniacs.

because i know that after the centra incident laguna was injured and was nursed to health in winhill. then after that he went on his journey. but im not sure if the shumis say that they had to take care of him after an accident aswell. maybe after the fight with the dragons when hes making the film?
