Ashe.. Tank/ Healer/Spell Caster

I just wanted a few hints concerning which direction i should take each character in the game …I know certain people have to be better at certain positions… and I�m kind of o.c.d about in, I refuse to use any license points until I have a idea what i should build on i know how to and all that …. i just don�t know which players I should use as

Healer
Tank
Spell caster
damage dealer

so on…
hints would be nice or examples on how so far you set up your own characters

p.s…are any of the opptional players, specialized for tank so on…

also are there any other good forums to join… to help me with this topic… plz include link……. Thx

To answer your question at hand, you can set up your characters how you’d like and license them how you see fit. Just take into consideration your main party and the jobs you want to assign them.

i was talk about cheats what are talk about?

When I first saw the topic of this thread, I thought it was about something else. Namely, that at least to me so far, Ashe seems to be an awful tank who can’t take a lot of damage before going down. Not a good choice for party leader or for general physical attacking in general.

Eh, I’ve had Ashe tanking and party leading throughout the entire game so far. She works very well and I’ve had no problems.

The only reason the men are there is to switch them up and get a quickening chain going. I think all the girls are twice their level. ;_;;

Hrm. Maybe I just need to outfit Ashe better. I’ll check her License Board next chance I get…

you can make pretty good judgments as to their "jobs" by their individual stats–that is, ignoring any stat boosts with accessories, weapons, or armors equipped. some characters are best suited for attacking in close quarters, others are better for long-range attacking, and some are better at magick than others.

I use her as one of my main tanks as well. With a decent shield she does jsut fine imo. If you have her with, say a katana or something and she cant evade as much then she may have problems.

I have Ashe with a Spear, some Iron Armor, an Iron Helm, and a Bangle for right now, as I’m not very far in… Just to the second shrine past the mountain… and I can’t figure the damn thing out. Haha.

I typically use Ashe as a frontline melee character and haven’t had any problems with her – as The Great said, she can definitely hold her own when equipped with a sheild.

While her MP and magic power have always been developed well enough to allow her to serve as a good spellcaster up front, I’ve noticed that as I progress in the game her magic stats are improving to a point that I’m considering changing her role from melee to magic/support.
