Yay. I only watched One Shounen-Ai. Gakuen Heaven. I believe the PC/PS2 Game and the Manga is Yaoi. only saw a few scans of the manga and I’ve never played the game.

Yuri dosen’t catch my interest. I only listened to a few Yaoi BL Dramas. They were all good except one was crap. XD
And Hentai? Nono. I don’t watch hentai. i Just watched some animes with fanservice. XD

I think, that hentai is much better than ‘live-action’ porn for the following reasons…

-No one is harmed or exploited in the making of Hentai, even though this rarely happens any more in the porn industry, it’s something that some people care about… maybe.

-As absurd as this sounds… Hentai is better acted, and always, even the crapiest of hentai has some semblence of a plot, if not an actual story that progresses and is often amusing to boot;

-In hentai, the characters are more convincing in every way, mainly, in their emotion and ‘enjoyment’ of whats happening, than I have ever seen in a porn. Even the best quality pornos, are so ridiculously fake and heartless and sometimes even spooky … like dolls, that I just can’t stand to watch them anymore.

-You don’t see needle tracklines and caked make up on Hentai girls.

-Often in Hentai, the story is built around that mystic delusion known as love, and maybe I’m just weird this way, but sex and love go together well for me, where as sex on it’s own is half as entertaining

-Porn diminishes a persons taste for real people. This is a wild one, but think it over… The ‘actors’ in a porn, are less real than the characters in a Hentai. Now hold on, I know it can be argued that Hentai diminishes one’s taste for real people, and so on, but let me get to my point.. In Hentai, the good stuff at least, there is an artist who is striving to convey in the medium of anime, various emotions; namely arousal, pleasure, passion, bliss etc… (is passion an emotion… not really, but shut up) anyway, this artistic representation of sexuality and the corresponding emotions is much more… ‘real’ and pure to me, than bad actors pretending to be having a good time. …i’m losing track of my points, and I blame the merlot, shhh…
the ‘actors’ in porno’s are quite often more like androids than people, because their skin is not real; it is a layer of make up, their skin is somewhere underneath. Their breasts are not real, their hair is often not real, their lips are often not real, blah blah blah, … well, no, thats not fair to the androids out there, they are real, just made of different stuff… ah … hmm/

-Many porno stars, are drug fiends. Many people in general are drug fiends, but in the porn industry, many of them enter to support a bad habit, ah this point has no weight…

-Hentai has more feeling than porn.

-Hentai can inspire couples into roleplaying acts, cosplay and that… ; My lover and I have …. well, I suppose in our case, most of the characters we like to play and make costumes for are characters who came from games and anime first, and then found their way to hentai… nevermind

-Some people could argue that porn is an artform of it’s own, but that isn’t true/ what they are thinking of is called "Erotica" which is different thing than porn. Hentai is an artform. Some artists suck, some are great. Porn is an industry. This is why Hollywood is such a shit factory: they took the art of filmmaking and turned it into an epic industry anyway… I am a slightly bitter indie filmmaker and I do hate hollywood… I digress..

-Hentai stimulates a persons imagination where as porn is just people fucking on film.

I dunno…. this has become a silly ramble and I’m probably just abnormal in my views on this… I like Hentai of high quality artistic style that can evoke and express emotion and feeling, actual desire and sexual passion, something I have never seen in porn. Porn is often gross and depressing… perhaps I am just more empathic than most, but I sense so much despair and pain in the girls of porno, that there is nothing arousing about it at all. ahh… I’m gonna play some FF 6, which I never have before… I tried to five times before, and never got further than the moogles helping Locke help Terra right at the beginning… (Is terra her name? I forget already, because I always rename the characters in SPG’s* to religious figures… (Play FF7 with Cloud named "Jesus" for much hilarity…)) So I am hoping that my Sixth attempt at FF6 will be more fruitful, I have thr rom now, so I can play it at my own leisure, instead of other peoples copies of the games and … damnit man shut up already…

* Final Fantasy and games of this type should not be called Roleplaying Games, yes, you do play a role, they are not the same as a real roleplaying game, because you do not create that role, nor do you have any real choice or sway in what happens, you cannot do what you want to,… I think the term SPG, Story-Playing Game, is much more appropriate..

I would have to say neither. It depends on personal tastes and you find bad fanfiction (lemon, lime etc) within all sexual leanings. Plus I’m a gen fan, so ya.

Oh, the implications of that are just staggering. I’m not going to dwell on the past, however, of my years of being exploited by renagade japanese hentai masters. Those repressed memories are what created who is here today. I think abuse helps keep people from being blabbermouths :). No matter what happens, some good always comes from it…even if it isn’t immediately visible.
