Weapons Monthly May Issue

I missed Weapons Monthly May Issue on Deiling City sewers during assasination mission. Is there a way to get it later ?

Nope!

But if you get the items for the weapons in that book, you can get that weapon anyways. You don’t need a book to get different weapons, just the necessary items.

Do new models appear on junk shop menu even if you don’t read the magazine ?

I’m pretty sure you can still get it, even if you can’t I’m sure you can buy it from one of the Esthar shops.

Oh yeah, I forgot about Esthar. Been awhile since I played this game and I’m still on disc 1 right now.

And yes, you can still remodel your weapons even if you don’t have the magazine. For example: it’s possible to get Lionheart on disc 2 (me and my mate were racing to see who would get it first). I didn’t have the magazine, but as long as you have the parts for it, then it would be selectable in the Junk Shop menu.

It’s actually possible to get Lionheart on Disc 1. Although it becomes a lot easier on Disc 2, admittedly, since you get access to easy near-worldwide transportation.

You can also buy it in Esthar on Disc 3, should you really want it.

As far as I’m aware, you can’t obtain the right item for Pulse Ammo in disc 1. Can you clarify as to how I can get the items?

Yeah, you can obtain the Pulse Ammo on Disc 1. A T-Rexaur at the proper level in the Training Center will sometimes drop Energy Crystal.

Ahh, I had no idea that they drop those.

What level would they be at?

Oh, and it’s apparently the Dragon Fangs that you get from the T-Rexaurs. You get the Pulse Ammo from the card game or in the second Laguna sequence.

Now I can get Lionheart in the PC version! I made Squall a god on the PS version with gameshark so he obviously already has the Lionheart gunblade.
