Looking for some techno this is not really a vg request just a genre request because this is a really hard genre for me to find. Please someone respond to this……..

Nobody will really answer this, but perhaps you should try LimeWire or some other P2P.
BTW, look for some John Digweed & DJ Sasha, they rule. 😉

The Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune 2 soundtrack has some amazing tehcno in it. I believe it’s on GH. Also there are a bunch of DDR and Beatmania sountracks with techno on here. Probably like 40 albums total.

If your just looking for techno in general, may I suggest this website:

It’s a digital radio station. There are about 9 different generes of techno to stream. All the track and artist info is listed on WinAmp as it’s being played. Also you can just browse the website for whatever is currently playing. Under the specified techno station will be a link that says Recent Playlist History. Just click on that.

I would give you some artists but there are SOOO many kinds of techno, that it would be impossible for that to help.

Yeah tropy i didn’t figure it would but this is where i get alot of good rips so i figured i would ask here first. Almost all my requests have not been found.

….yeah — i agree, people are basically getting sick of the same old rock/hip-hop/r&b bullsh*t….. and there is just this big upsurge from a new style coming out of Europe — best place i’ve found it so far is a compilation series called ‘euro club hits’ on itunes — or check this link: http://electricfilebox.com/tracks

Not sure "techno" really exists anymore, seems like that genre has crossed over into Trance or Deep House.

But if your looking for "techno" techno, look for Detroit Techno (alleged birthplace).

u should download the wipeout game soundtracks, some have techno made specifically for the games, most by Cold Storage, but many also contain mainstream artist’s contributions

i also recommend the Need For Speed III Hot: Pursuit Soundtrack

If you’re open minded, download the Rockman X Command Mission Soundtrack – basically a techno-themed game soundtrack, heaps good, one of my fave VGM Soundtracks, and im a huge fan of techno/techno game music
