i run ff9 in epsxe and i am in the 3rd CD.i battle the boss where i have to light the candles.when i summon phoenix or when the boss uses thundaga the game stucks!is there something that i can do for the game not to stuck?

What version of epsxe u run? You run ff ix through cd or with ISO? What configurations u have for epsxe?

i have epsxe 1.6.0. i run the game from the cd and my configurations are:
for video :Pete’s D3D Driver 1.46
for sound :ePSXe SPU core 1.5.2.
for cdrom :ePSXe CDR WNT/W2K core 1.5.2.

First of all, i would suggest you to run ePSXe 1.5 as 1.6 freezes the game in two FMVs (the one the party leaves dali with the cargo ship and on of the last fmvs in the 4th disc). Meybe your FF9 cd os scrached. Try to clean it up. If it doesnt work, then i think u have to download a ISO of it. As u own the videogame, its legal o download an iso of it.
