If Biggs, Wedge and Jessie were playable…….

What weapons/equipment/stats etc would they have?

Jessie would have to have some kind of flashbomb/grenade type weapon.

Wedge would have high HP and fight with his fists. Would come equipped with a ‘Cover’ materia perhaps?

Biggs maybe a dagger?

What do you reckon they’d be like?

You must be joking right? I agree, they were pretty awesome, but to say that they were the best characters in the game is just stupid.

To say they were pretty awesome seems kinda silly. They were undeveloped murdering left wing terrorists who died a few hours into the game. but each to their own.

I thought they were awesome, but nowhere near the best characters in the game. Not the same thing at all.

I just remember when they died i looked at my brother and said "Cloud won`t be riding Jessie now".

if those 3 were playable it would be pointless, they would basically be like marcus, blank, and cinna from ff9. And im pretty sure thats where the idea for them came up from as AVALANCHE is just like tantalus.

I disagree with that. Tantalus are part of the story much more than Avalanche, as Avalanche is done for from the first disc and Biggs, Wedge and Jessie die in the first Disc too. The FF:IX story starts and ends with Tantalus. They help the party several times in the game.

Roki is right. Several things later in the game have to do with Tantalus, which is tied to Lindblum, which is tied to Regent Cid, who helps you all the way to Disc 4. Biggs Wedge and Jessie all are dead before you even leave town, they cant be TOO important of characters for that to happen, although i wouldve liked to have seen them a little longer.
