Console size chart ~

Just found this. I dunno if somebody finds this handy. But at least now I know how my game setup will look like. 🙂

i think it does. one reason i didnt buy an xbox when it was released, was becasue it was the size of a small building.

Yeah, I feel the same way. If I am to buy a console it needs to look more like a console and not a small supercomputer. I’m heavily biased against both the Xbox/360 anyway. I’m also heavily biased for Nintendo. DS/Wii is a masterstroke of inovation IMO.

Well as i said it doesnt to me 🙂 But even if i dont care the size, its a problem as my room is small and i cant fit a console like Xbox good. It needs a lot of space 🙁 Anyway, im planning on getting a ps2 slim as its the best choice for me;)

Holy fuck the wii is small. It is so small compaired to the xbox.

I think the sizes of the X-Box 360 and PS3 are reasonable, considering what they have in them. The Wii is pretty nifty, I didn’t expect it to be that small.

Are the ps2 slims really that small? it looks unusual. Also the Wii looks just a little too small.

I always thought the gamecube was a bit small, but that is crazy stuff.

how are you guys shocked by the wii’s size? When they said "about the size of 3 dvd cases" that gave me a pretty good estimate.

To some extent, the Wii is just sexy because of its size. It just looks really good to have a tiny little thing instead of a big hulking one. But also, some people have really cramped arrangements and it’s very good for them. This is an especially big deal in Japan. Having appliances be as small as possible is really important to them because Japanese homes are really small compared to the ones we have. In fact virtually everything in Japan is built with space-saving in mind. They even have parking garages that have "car shelves" of sorts that rise and descend into the ground, so that one space can hold several cars.

This of course is what happens when your whole country is a tiny island.
