Dude seriously Runescape?!!! Well it’s a fair free game, and and pretty good member game but buy MMORPGs like the rest of us.

I play Runescape too, in fact used to play but i still have my account. Is a good game (for free) and the players there are nice. But still, it aint a real MMORPG, something to spend your time 😛

i had a lvl 12 account then got bored it’s the most slow and annoying game i have ever bothered to play..

I play RuneScape sporadically. I can overlook it’s flawed condition, and simply appreciate it for whatever it’s remaining worthwhileness is. My citeria for adjudging a game, is somewhat atypical of the norm, and can possibly be ascribed to this regarding RuneScape.

Once again, Runescape is the epitome of crap.

Taking everything into account, the entire game still sucks regardless of OMG 104 levels of cow killing. But since everybody wants me to convince them that runescape is a great game I will have a shot. Runescape rewards hardwork. The longer you play the better you get. As for the graphics, yes they could be improved on quite abit, but I feel it gives the game more character, as I am yet to see another game with the same graphics as runescape.

Also, there are many people on rs, and it is very easy to make great friends on the game. It is also ever expanding and more and more quests, mini games and items are constantly being added. The best aspect of runescape is the exp system in my opinion. Basically the more you do the skill the better you get at it, obviously, and the higher it gets the more exp you need, but (correct me if I’m wrong) runescape is the only game I know of with 22 different skills you can work on.

Alot of other games have this exp system where you only have one lvl and nearly all you can do is lvl up, and it takes insane amounts of exp to lvl up, I find these games boring, but Runescape is not like this. In runescape, you dont get exp per monster you kill like other games, it doesnt work like that, instead you get exp based on the damage you do.

Also, your ‘combat lvl’ which is the lvl everyone else sees you as is basically taken from your main skills, attack,strength,defence,health and prayer. Magic and Range do not affect your combat. The main thing I like about runescape is the variety and if you know what youre doing its easy to get rich.

Lol..somehow i dont think you like me. Oh well its no matter. As for examples of games, Silkroad, Maplestory,Dofus and I’m sure alot more the entire basis in those games is lvl up. In runescape you dont get judged by just 1 lvl. just get judged on all your skills combined.

And I forgot to add, I prefer Runescape to maple/dofus/silkroad because its not full screen. I can actually do other things while I’m playing it. (hint these forums hint)
