Originallity?

I know that some materials are in final fantasy series from the classic ones. The summons, the crystals, the airships, the chocobos. But after seeing them in almost every ff game im getting a bit tired of them. For example the summons/aeons/GFs. From the moment i put a ff game to play on my playstation/pc/gameboy i know there is going to be a big part of the story on magic createres and beasts known as summons. But after so many games that they were used is it still original? They played a big part in 6, 9, 10 and im sure on other games of the series too. Is it still original to use them in the plot? I dont beilive so.
Something else is the crystals. They were used a lot in the classic games, and in 9. If im not mistaken the crystal will be back in 12? There is a second in one of the trailers that you can see the crystal. Is this still original?

What are your thoughts on this? 🙂

Yeah he never even shaves his maustache but in any case you mentioned about espers/summons and GFs well they didnt appear in FFX-2 which was going for a change and look what happend, FAILURE!
