Yaoi is a bit weird at times, given the age of the characters. I guess it falls into the whole "bishi" style, in this sense.

I highly dislike the extremist fangirls though. Mostly because the ones I have encountered are believing it is ‘yaoi or the highway’ sorts of things. What amuses me, though, is I’ve actually encountered people who refuse to read/write/view het things because they think heterosexual sex is gross, and yet they’re heterosexual themselves. Wrote a couple of Lemons in the past when Fanficiton.net net permitted them. What kills a lot of Lemons(hence the term most likely) is that writers end up writing ‘shock’. Guro, slash, whatever else isn’t what the majority of readers want when it comes to explicit sex.
