I think GSM 1 and 3 of this series are on GH. This one covers the Gameboy games:
-Super Mario Land (5 tracks)
-Golf (1 track)
-Tetris (4 tracks)
-Solar Striker (3 tracks)

The music contains a mix of original chipset tunes and some decent arranges. Track 10 has a large portion that fades in and out like you were listening to Led Zeppelin in a car w/ a broken left or right speaker…not sure why. Maybe Japanese stereo has three speakers?

This CD was only released in Japan, to my knowledge.

Ahh, stupid me. Nevermind. Thanks for the upload, though it seems to have been deleted. Think you could reupload it?

Thanks.

Bummer the only track off that entire album I really wanted (Tetris Type A) was the one that they arranged. Grr.

How about this?

There’s a GB soundfile there for Tetris on the Gameboy. You’ll need a plugin to play it, though.

Check the "Music Archives" section to find it. It won’t let me link to the page for some reason.

I’ve got it; I just like official company releases of their stuff as opposed to game rips. They tend to be of higher quality.

Well (and anyone who rips the actual NSF/GB/HES etc audio correct me if I’m wrong), but the original ripped GB file should be right from the ROM itself…and as such, should be "lossless" compared to what you’d hear on the Gameboy. You could rip it from there into another lossless audio format. Also, heh, we’re talking about Gameboy music…and whether it’s in lossless or 32kbps, it’ll still probably sound just as good as what you heard from the handheld.

Then agaaaain, I’m probably putting *way* too much thought into this, so I’ll just nod my head and smile politely 🙂

Can I get this in Lossless?
