Green day has finally anounced; after close to 16 months of touring for their album American Idiot, that they have began working on the follow up. The interestin point of this is that it hasnt been anounced on wheather this will be an album or not. a quote from Billie Joe Armstrong says that " just making a record with 12 or so songs on it, and then releasing it… just dosent sound as interesting to us anymore." or somthing very close to that. Green Day is very proud of there latest album and Bille Joe has said that he has never put that much of himself into anything he has ever done befor. And now with the announcement of there new "projcet" the whole band says they want to make somthing they can put " All There Blood Into".

i have actually heard speculation that they will turn the american idot album into a full length movie. it wouldnt be the first time this happened but it would be a cool surprise!
