Dsik 3 GF Sidequests Help

hi~

ive never done these little "side quests" the first time i played so bare with me =(

Where i am: disk 3, going to Esthar (looking for Ellone), just god Odin
What id like to know:
– How do you phycially get inside the Deep Sea Research centre? i’ve been there but i cant get in
– How do you get onto the 3 islands : Closest to Hell / Heaven and the Cactuar one located South Easten-ish on the map?

do i need to go further in the game to access these / some of these areas?

Sounds like you don’t have the airship yet. You’ll need to have the airship.

1. Play the game
2. Continue the plot
3. Get the airship
4. Have fun at various locations you mentioned.

oh duh the massive red ship thingy –;

when you get the ”massive red ship thingy”, ragnarok, you can land on top of the deep sea research centre (located at bottom left of map).

the island closest to hell is the one furthest to the left on the map. you’l get into fights with some of the strongest random monsters every few steps on this island. i recommend using it for leveling up characters, saving after every fight or 2. Put on no-encounter and walk around presseing x and you’l find that the islands covered in draw points that contain powerful spells.

island closest to heaven is on the far right, near the top kinda, quite roundish. its similar to hell island in that there loads of draw points bad monsters. but you tend to get more status effect applying monsters there.

cactaur island is the small desert island next to the big desert on centra. you should see a little green cactus randomly appearing on the island. walk upto it to fight the jumbo cactaur. if memory serves, use leviathan to good effect. beat it to obtain the cactaur gf.

in fact that is the very point i’m up to right now!

to enter in the Deep Sea Research centre you must have the ragnarok and zell on your team. then land on the island and enter. to go to cactuar island you must have the airship and to go to the others islands to.
