Zelda Abandoned Theme, what is this song from?

I have this Zelda song downloaded a long time ago, and I have absolutely no clue what it is to. But this thing is, its a really really good song. It sounds so nice, and relaxing. If you went on any p2p program and typed zelda remix, this usually popped up with many users. Its called Legend Of Zelda – Abandoned Theme (Techno Remix). For anyone who don’t know what I’m talking about, I uploaded it. Heres the link

This track pops up again here and there every couple of years. I heard this track for the first time back in 2001, but it took me four years to track down the author.

It’s by a guy who’s pseudonym was The Obelisk Device, and his other stuff was just as cool and relaxing too. This track still resonates with me the most, though. The filename’s a bit off – the original was ‘abandoned theme (zelda remix)’. The author posts it here (http://www.averyjamesbrooks.com/archives/file_info/download1.php?file=theObeliskDevice-Abandoned_Theme_(zelda_remix).mp3) for free.
