Whats The best Way To Train Up on this game?

you can’t underestimate junctioning. by the end of the game, you’ll (hopefully) have access to very powerful spells that will greatly boost your stats. And you’ll probably still want to equip abilities like HP+80% or Str+60%.

but i ended up with three characters whose levels were in their teens at the end of my game, simply because i never used them. and although i could equip bonus abilities on them and level them up individually, i decided it was a waste of time, since I only used Squall, Zell, and Irvine anyway.

BTW, you can always raise stats at the end of the game by devouring certain monsters, which will raise a particular stat by 1 point. by this means, it is entirely possible to max out all your characters’ stats, even without junctioning anything to them, although it would probably take months.

The Island Closest to Hell

Yeah, that’s the easiest way to level up characters if you ask me. I had a few characters that were in their 30s at the end of the game while Squall, Zell, and Selphie were at 100. Took some time, but I got them up there with the rest of them. So I think this is an excellent training ground.

Im Disc 3 lev100 4 squall and Lev19 for Irvine. Training i used the very simple tatic of going around killing whatever while trying to get AP for GFs, esp after getting brothers, and also on islands when trying to get malboro tenticals (sp) and admantines, hope it helps 🙂 the island of hell and heaven are good places but u need to be at a high level to defeat most of the fiends anywayz

go to cactuar island the cactuars u kill give u 20 ap for gf’s but no experience however.

For Exp. junction 100 death on someones weapon, go to island closest to hell (heaven sucks) and shoot away:) might kill t-rexaurs in 1 hit, blue dragons fall like flies, sometimes you’ll get Odin/Giilgamesh and if things go wrong, just run! Have some tents/cottages handy. At least 1 lv per enemy.

which fiends do u get Death from?

Ermz… Well I just used Life/Restore magic refinement on Chief’s Knifes and other items. U’ll find plenty of items… Just try finding a lot of Tenberry King cards. Use Card Mod, and then refine them into 20 or 30 deaths each.
1 card=1knife

So it goes
Tonberry Card –> Chef Knifes –> Deaths correct?

Yepper, that’s the way;) Just make sure you can refine cards and have the Life/Restore Ref. ability with one of your GF’s. (not sure which one, Carbuncle??)

Meh i did the catuar thing 1st and have almost all gfs and all the abilities so wont be a problem lol

actually now that i think i have gf tonberry so i have 20 chef knives anywayz lol so thanx 4 the help

hahaha good luck, if ya have Eden, try 2 charas with Stat Attack. and Auto Haste or initiative, you’ll become a killing maelstrom;)

havent got eden yet lol only 1 i missing atm lol:P

My best advice is go to cactuar island, the big one, not the small one whilst you have tonemberry king junctioned and go to the small hill where you come into the desert, there you can fight giant mantis and a robot thing, kill the robot and use LV UP on the mantis and you usually get around 1,500 exp which is a level and a half.

actualy,minor question,but is the a special way to unlock selphies "the end" limit or is it just luck

the chances of you getting it before she’s level 80 is almost nil. and the chances greatly increase if she’s really in danger of being KO’ed and during boss fights. i’ve only gotten it twice; once with omega weapon.

Need her final weapon first;) Then the chances grow alooooot

another great way to lvl quick at either island closest to heaven or hell is to have Quistis in your party, keep her in yellow HP press O to go through your chars turns until Quistis has limit break up and use Degenerator.

Nope, Siren. Other than that she’s pretty useless…
