for myself, it has to be the "silent hill" soundtrack. it’s like you don’t hear anything except for a few tracks. the wind effect works scares me silly.

Listening to random FF muisic late at night, almost falling asleep, then Liberi Fatali starts playing.

Scariest Music: Silent Hill 3 Soudtrack, especially when that woman starts talking. Like the game, its not something you want to do in the dark if you can’t handle it.

Mine would have to be Parasite Eve Especially that song with the Ultimate Being chasing you near the end. That music is SOOOO Creepy.

Does it have to be from a game? The score to Ring(u) by Kenji Kawai is the most hair-raising soundtrack that does actually scare me.

{sigh} I tend to cleave to RPG’s and shmups, so the eeriest I’ve heard to date is "The Rolling Worms" from X-Multiply (it’s in Irem Vol. 2 on GH)…or at least, that’s the first thing that comes to mind for eerie, right now. It’s unsettling, at least, when you first hear it…

I try to avoid horror games and their soundtracks; I prefer tamer games. XD; Out of the games I have played, though, the Shadow Temple theme from OoT still gives me the jibblies…

How about the music from Shadowgate for the NES? That game combined with the music used to really get to me.

Well it was never on a soundtrack, but I remember when I was little I got scared of the original Metroid NES music.

The scariest I’ve ever heard were these ones: D, a psx game that came out in 1995 and Fatal Frame 3 or Project Zero 3 as we call here in Europe. Those ones still scare the hell out of me!!!!

I agree that Silent Hill has the most creepiest soundtrack. But i’m really looking for RE PS1 OST. Where could I get it?

Almost all the save rooms for Resident Evil, and all the Phoenix Wright games. For some reason those games scare me since it’s not that far from the truth, people getting killed so badly.

How about Clock tower from super famicom-snes? It has some tunes that are creepy, apart of being an old game still packs a punch and gave a lot of tension.

The Zelda: Ocarina of Time music when you’re in the well or the family tomb creeped me out years ago. Probably still will on a bad night.

And if it’s a movie, some tracks from Pan’s Labyrinth gives me the heebies-jeebies from time to time. It’s a beautiful score, but some of those songs aren’t meant to be played at night when you’re going to bed.
