now the last madden game i played was for the N64 so im behind the times,but seriously, how does a football game be considered "THE GREATEST GAME EVER CREATED!!!!"?

Don’t forget the updated gameplay and AI.

And they add new features. One of the ones there adding to 07 is one where you control the lineman or FB and help make holes for the running back or whoever is running. That really dosn’t appeal to me but some people may like it. Also there going to go into more detail on Superstar mode. And I here it will be alot better on the 360. You will be able to buy it for the Wii and it will be intresting if the new controllers make it easier or harder.

I’ll stick with my Tecmo Super Bowl for the time being thanks. Can’t afford spending $50 for an updated roster every year it comes out 😛

Yes we all know that NCAA Football and Madden are virtually identical with each yearly version, give or take a new ability. We can complain all we want about how it’s the same game year after year after year to the developers, but we should also be complaining to ourselves since we continue to buy them. And, I don’t play sports game, period. Give me the real thing on tv, much better.

Well, there won’t be to much different things from 06 and 07 but i’d like to see what they do with the precision passing. Hopefully make it more controlable. Everytime i’d try and throw it low i’d always go and throw if off my back foot and it wouldn’t even make it. Also, i’d like to see the receviers get a little better. It seems that besides speed all the recevers are the same, you never see them make any great catches. I can’t complain about the running backs though, thats my favorite thing to do. I Love the truck stick, but it is a little unresponsive. =(

Well, i’m big enough a man to admit this. Madden 07 is almost exactly alike as Madden 06. =( I was wrong.

Haha. Some kids that go to my school (mainly the jocks) held a huge Madden ’07 Tournament last Friday night. We all put in like $10 and play in our own little Tournament style.
Of course, since I am the only real video game fanatic at my high school I left with about $120. It was a pretty nice little deal.

I stoped getting invites to those tournaments because i’d completely destroy them with the Lions every time. I’ve made about 500 between the 6 or 7 i’ve been to.

The thing that sucks is the fact that people keep buying the games, even though each years’s game is basically the same as the last and definitely not worth paying full price for. Hm… yeah, that means the game sucks just as much as the consumers who buy it.

True, the only real difference is the updated rosters. So I guess if you are a hardcore football fan, it is worth buying each game?

I usually buy every few years, like I had 94′, then I got 98′, then I got 02′, and I have ’06.
Because I am not that into Madden or even football but it is fun to play with friends.

In my opinion, if console internet takes off, Madden, Fifa, etc, are the perfect games to use downloadable updates. For like $40 each or something. They won’t of course because companies like money.

They already have roster updates and they are free (- xbox live costs on xbox).

Sports games are competely retarted to buy, just rent it, max out your stats, create a legendary team, and then wait for the graphics too improve next year.
