al bhed aren’t followers of Yeven. and since only summoners, maesters, and other followers of Yeven can perform sendings, they don’t perform sendings on the al bhed. therefore, none of the al bhed are sent, so they can’t be seen at the Farplane. rikku has no reason to go to the farplane.

The memories of the sent carried to the farplane by their pyreflies, that are then given some sort of form when a loved one visits the farplane and thinks about them. I think that’s the deal with it, and since the Al Bhed believe that you are only seeing memories of a person, and not the person themselves like Yevon do, they don’t see the point.
