1. I found 2 materia in Northern Cave where you fight sephiroth one of them was called "Sheild" the other was called "Mega All" what do they actually do?
2. Is there any other weapon with a triple materia growth besides the Apocalypse Sword?
3. In the Northern Cave you can fight creatures in a green area which looks like lifestream these are Magic Pot/jar dunno (1000 AP) and these red things (2400 AP) each have high AP gains but i cant get back out from there anyone know how?
4. Which Materia do you need for the Master Materia?
5. Ive got 20 Chocobos from Icicle Inn and all of them ive been told cannot be reccomended, where do i get a wonderful chocobo then? I thought you got them here.
6. Where do i get Final Attack + Mime Materia?
1. Shield raises defence much like protect I think. I didnt use it much though. Mega -All basically adds all to each materia you have equiped. So rather than having say Ice + All and Fire + All you just need to have Fire, Ice and Mega All equiped to give you the same result. It comes in very handy.
2. Cid’s Scimitar is a triple growth weapon and can be found in the underwater reactor.
3. Well as long as you havent gone all the way down to where your party are you should be able to get out.
4. I assume you need all the materia but I have never bothered to do this myself.
5. Keep trying there. The odds are around 12/1 or so the rumor goes so im not sure how you have 20….
6. For final attack you need to first get Omnislash and W-summon in the battle arena in the Gold Saucer. Then you have to win the special battle to get final attack. Mime materia can be found in the cave on the Wutai continent.
Okay for Magic you must get and master all the magic materia then bring to the green-ish huge materia
Summons are the same, get and master all, then bring to red-ish huge materia
Command, you must get and master Steal, Sense, Deathblow, Manipulate, Morph, Throw, and Mime. You do not need to master Slash-All or Double Cut or the W’s
Oh and Desert Wolf, you don’t have to get Omnislash or W-Summon. You need to get 65000 BP, which is 1000 more than W-Summon, so once you get 65000, then you can get W-Summon and do the Special Battle
For the Chocobo, you have to fight a chocobo along with a bunny and a wolf. A ratio doesn’t matter, it’s the enemies beside the chocobo. Example: Good Chocobos come from Mideel, fight 2 Spirals with a chocobo and you’ll get a Good.
Shield sucks. It makes you invincible to physical and elemental attacks
To get out of the Northern Cave, go forward to where you meet your party, but DO NOT GO TO THEM. On the cliffside, find a cave. Then follow all the cavern roms. You’ll find the part where there are 2 caves. Go straight up, then you’ll see where the roads split. You should know your way from there.
