game bug or not? need help

Hello all.
I’m at disc 4, with a gold chocobo and when I go to the "Foaming Water Beneath Quan’s Dwelling" in the water where there is bubles, I give a dead pepper to the chocobo, however he goes down the water and don’t give me the damn treasure -_-

I know I don’t have that one (the only one missing) because I don’t have the Red Rose Card wich you can win from there.

Anyone had the same problem?

I know exactly what you mean… I’ve had the same probllem, and if I remember correctly I eventually managed to get the item, but maybe you need the chocograph for the spot as well…. I really can’t quite remember, but I do recall myself being stuck there and spending millions on Dead Peppers…. I’ll look into it and let you know;)

For the record, though. The answer is: Jack Bauer. 😛

Make Jack go into Quan’s Dwelling. He will then proceed to force the answers out of Quan by holding him at gunpoint. Despite being a ghost, Quan gets scared crapless and gives up how to get the treasures. The treasuer actually ends up being a nuclear bomb.

Jack Bauer is always the answer.

Or, alternatively, make sure you have a dead pepper in your inventory, then go inside Quan’s dwelling, all the way to the back lookout, where the clock is. Walk to the edge until Zidane gets excited and goes "!" Choose the "FEED CHOCO A DEAD PEPPER" option.

Zidane will then be in a very enlightened state. "Ooooh, NOW I get it."
