Wow… That’s very new. NOT!!!!

Seriously, her death made the best rumours ever:

1) You can revive Aerith by casting Holy when you get the materia for it (NOTE: You CAN’T get the materia XD).

2) Lose 100 battles in the arena at Gold Saucer to get 100 Tissues.

3) If you use Aerith in every battle and be mean to Tifa at every point in the game, she’ll be killed instead (I heard about this and actually tried it because it was the most believeable, but all I got was a mad Tifa and a dead Aerith)

Another example of a rumour is pressing L1+L2+R1+R2+Start+Select during gameplay… lol

But that was pretty nice as I never got as attached to Aerith as most people.

it’s because a large group of fanboys who tried to get laid by showing a "soft side" got together and decided that her death means something more than it was….all they got was a sticky hand in the end and had to turn to mediums of communication such as these forums to further their ideals onto the impressionable minds of adolescents (note that it’s the adolescents in the past that are now the hard-headed fanboys/girls that buy anything and everything with the words Final Fantasy 7 without thinking if it’s worth spending money on)
