Wiimote a Copy of Dreamcast Prototype?

Meh, i was bored so i thought i`d post this. Still, slightly interesting….well….maybe.

I think it would be rather ridiculous to assume there’s any connection between them.

The lightgun looks pretty cool.

That Sega prototype looks so ridiculously uncomfortable and flawed.

Indeed. It’s pretty clear that it has almost no possible relation to the Wiimote.

That’s where all the similarities end, it seems. Plus, it looks like it would be a lot heavier than the wii-mote.

No kidding. I’d say it resembles a malformed brick more than a controller.

It wouldn’t surprise me if Nintendo did assemble the wii-mote in some fashion after this possible prototype. But for that Sega controller to actually do stuff that the Wii is going to allow, I severely doubt it.

They may look a bit similar in shape but i dont think nintendo copied that controler. All in all it was a prototype in so many other prototypes.

That sega controller is hold with 2 hands, and it may be just a simple controller as all the others

I see a similarity in the lightgun component, otherwise no.

I still don’t think the wii thing will work that nicely.
