What "Morph" do?

when i use Morph i do about 30 domage 😀
but for what is Morph ???

it turns certain monsters into items or accesories.

you have to use it as the last attack before killing an enemy to morph it into something. Not everything can be morphed. You will always get the same item from a morphed monster.
They go flat and spin around instead of the usual turning red and fading away death animations.

Most enemies will only morph into the items that you can steal from but here is some useful things creatures will turn into.

Tonberry – Ribbon
Ghost Ship – Guide Book
Cactuar – Tetra Elemental

All the creatures down in the Gelnika will morph into Mind Source, Luck Source, Guard Source etc

There is a damage percentage on Morph, and I think it’s 12.5%, so you’ll only ever do 1/8th of a normal attack with it. In Gelnika, the sunken ship, you can find Yuffie’s ultimate weapon, the Conformer, which surpasses this damage limit for Morph.

I suggest finding her weapon, probably watching out for the enemies in there for the time being, and equipping her with Morph. Then, if you have it, junction Steal as well with Morph, and you’ll be rolling in items.

Btw, other monsters morph into those things as well, so you don’t have to struggle with them because they’re pretty tough. Near Mideel, the rolling insects will morph into a Guard Source; near the Gongaga Reactor, there’s a tank you can easily morph into a Power Source; there’s also an enemy near Nibelheim that morphs into a Mind Source.

you can morph the triceratop-tanks as soon as you awake after the temple of the ancients, as that is when you recieve the materia.

What materia??

You don’t receive any materia from Morphing the enemy, you can however find the summon materia close by at the reactor. It is hidden.

I think he means you receive the morph materia then.

You can morph Cactuers into Tetra Elementals which nullify Ice, Fire, Lightning, and I forgot the last 1

No, I think he was talking about Titan Summon which you find in the destroyed reactor at Gongaga, guy just needed to be a bit more specific.

Well you don`t find Morph until you get to the Temple of the Ancients though.

Why dont u argue with the man himself about what materia he was refering to, he seem to agree with my understanding, but maybe you know better than him! (even tho he wrote the original post!)=)
