Masoukishin ARE Banpresto originals. Cybaster and Granzon are in OG. That’s why I posted. The SRW OG gamerip will be out on GH quite soon I presume. Until then you should give me specific tracks from OG that I can rip for you. Just hook me up with pilot/robot name.

I also have some Dragonar music but I am hesitant to post it. It’s the series sunrise created right after Gundam 0083. It’s pretty damn good. Post if you have any interest in it.

Does an OST even exist for Super Robot Taisen GC? I’ve combed all over for one (with no success), and have ZERO clue as to how to rip this game’s music on my own.

Well, Poly, the PS 2 sound quality is superior or very similar to Gamecube…so the tracks ripped from there are nearly identical (that is, assuming they contain the same tracks).

In other news, I’ve found a SRW compilation CD I plan to post, but…I can’t seem to find the tracknames anywhere. This discourages me because I really wanted to help rayne21x get his SRW OG soundtracks (I think I have every song he asked for but the track names are in Jibberish ;)).

Hi there, first time posting.

I have a number of SRW soundtracks as well as a few scattered MP3s. Most of them consist of:

SRW Alpha – Original Score 1 (contains the vocal versions of the Masoukishin character, drama track between Shuu / Masaki), Instrumental version of Vanishing Trooper / Cockpit of Steel.
Original Score 2 – SRX Team Vocal themes, Instrumentals of Ware Ni Teki Nashi / Ace Attacker
Original Score 3 – Instrumentals of most of the themes found on O.S. 1 / 2. Vocal versions of Vanishing Trooper, Cockpit of Steel, Ware Ni Teki Nashi, Ace Attacker.

The Alpha Gaiden Drama CDs (1 – 3)

Scattered themes from Alpha 3, the GBA games (must be REALLY high quality game rips, from the way they sound), and a few themes from Alpha 2 (Both version of Trombe, Ryuusei! Yoru wo kiri saite, and Skill)

If anyone wants any of those and can provide me somewhere to upload them to, I’ll be happy to contribute.

I used to have the other version of "Toki O Koete" vocalized, but I just have the one that..sounds like the title theme of SRW4 / SRWF / Final vocalized.

Be sure to check out Aeon Genesis fan translation of [Super robot wars alpha gaiden]. Have a look at the progress here. It’s for ps1, so you’re gonna need a modded console/emulator/playstation portable to play it.

The best you could get are gamerips. And GBA is fucking terrible quality. Wait for super robot taisen OGS soundtrack to be released. It was a compilation of both SRW OG into a ps2 format game and the soundtrack rocks. Especially soulgain and zweizergain’s themes.

If you want shitty GBA music, then you’re quite welcome to rip it yourself and post it for others. Most GBA emulators have the sound recording option under ‘tools.’ It’s really, really easy. SRT J has the worst Super robot series in it. The only good thing about it is that it has great Zeorymer.

Katsurou, what specific tracks are you looking for from SRW OGS, if you don’t know the name, at least give me a description of the character/mecha it belongs to.

Oddly enough I downloaded the entire OST with all 4 disks but I couldn’t find either of the two, I found most the other music featured in the trailer, but not my two favorite… :/
If I actually had any knowledge of the game it would probably make it easier for someone to tell me their name or if they have the tracks, but one is played AFTER the Art-Wing concept picture, and another is near the start of the trailer where apparently the pilots are being presented and a logo with S and R appears in a neon blue color.
If someone can help me on that one it would be appreciated! That soundtrack was huge and it’s sad I can’t seem to find either of the songs I liked. 🙁

yeah, i just watched thru the trailer again, and i dont think either of those songs are actually on the ost nor are they in the game as far as im aware. they may have been composed just for that trailer

I think lots of people want music from SRWOG because it’s actually out in English. Most people aren’t going to want music from the other games quite as much because they haven’t played them. It’s not that they don’t want to play them, but they don’t know Japanese. I wish I could find some more of the SRWOG music myself…

Actually, I heard it’s actually because of licensing issues with the characters. Many SRW games use characters and mechs from other games and anime. Those anime series and games are registered to other companies in the US… so they can’t release the games here without sorting out the legal stuff…. so they don’t bother and the games don’t see a US release. OG1 and OG2 only had original SRW characters, so they were able to release them here in the USA.

I wish that they weren’t so lazy or that the whole patent/trademark/copyright/whatever system didn’t cause problems like this… or all of the above. 🙁

Not sure if it helps much but try hunting around DaiTrombe.net. They actually have an upload of the OGs OST. (They got a lot of other tracks from other SRW games too but I’m beyond the idea of how to get those individual files.)

I’ve been searching for some time for the soundtrack to one SRW game that I’ve never seen offered anywhere, so now I post here, hoping that perhaps someone more experienced with ripping/converting/whatever would be willing to rise to the challenge, or perhaps even have this hiding somewhere.

Hey guys, I thought this was important. I noticed Galbadia Hotel (<3) uploaded the Masoukishin OST without tracknames. I did my best to find the track names and added them to the title (NOT RETAGGED!). I thought I would post the track names here

First of all, for all of you who don’t know: Masoukishin literally translates into japanese as: Lord of Elemental. These "Lord of Elemental" robots have been in super robot wars since SRW2 for NES. The most well known Is Cybaster (Psybuster), and his powerful rival Granzon.
