Mix and Match: Dates/Pairs

Apart from the orignal love pairs in the games, who thought something like "Squall would have been a better Lulu" or someone more his type?
I personly thought the following pairs wound have been better:
Auron and Lulu
Aeris and Reno
Tidus and Selphie
Just to name some that I thought of.
Some of the default ones just didnt work for me.

Sephiroth and Kuja. Actually they did get together and their union spawned Sesshoumaru.

Edgar and Locke got together and their one-night fling resulted in Zidane Tribal.

Auron and Paine or Lulu might of been interesting. And; I’d say also Tidus and Yuffie would be well suited to one another… though perhaps Yuffie is more suited to Rikku if they both felt like being kinky.
