For what it’s worth, Winzip’s pretty easy to download, @ http://www.winzip.com, for a trial version, though Windows XP, Mac (I believe), and Linux/Unix all have built-in support for basic Zip files… You should, assuming you’re running one of those OS’s, be able to extract the contents of a zip file without even needing Winzip… Hope that helps;

Here’s a suggestion: I have learned that thwe ONLY program capable of compressing MORE than Rar or Zip is 7zip. I know by experience. Plus, it’s freeware AND unzips zips and rars.
