so a topic about guild wars, i’m pretty sure there aren’t any other guild wars threads so i’m making this one. here you can talk about anything from skills to builds to whatever. from prophecies to the anticipated nightfall. talk about characters and find out if anyone here other than me plays the game.

i used to play guild wars like 6 month ago but its burried sumwere under games

This is just me but I have 3 words; World of Warcraft.

I used to play GW but since factions requires more ram and a new video card I’ll be Guildless for a while.

i still play it but there’s alot of lag latley for some weird reason 0_o

Hmm seems to be an interior modem problem to me, you may need more RAM space, same thing happened to me.

That’s based on the rather huge assumption that he is not only on a dial-up connection, but has a software-based modem on top of that. Now, what you’re proposing could very well be the case if he does have a soft 56k modem. However, there are a lot of other things that could be causing the issue.

By the way, I deal with this kind of thing for a living.

I know that, but those Comcast salesmen keep calling my house trashing my 56k connection, and telling me something about my modem.

That’s pretty shitty, but I don’t work for a company that does anything like that, so I have no other comment.

i asure you it’s the game it’s self not me it’s pretty much stopped now alot of people are complaining about lag.

Well too much of a good thing is too much fations hasn’t even been out for a year yet.

that’s not completely true in a servey it say’s that something around 70% of people who play’s guild war’s would prefer it if there was no faction’s but just tyria with the new classes. pretty weird i think.

I’ve played both quite a bit (WoW more than GW, though) and GW is like a billion times more fun than WoW. PvP is SOOoo much closer to being balanced than WoW’s ever will be (unless you think best items = win is balance), and pve isn’t a snooze fest.

yeah i agree.

I played both GW and WoW, but I had a hard time figuring out which was better… WoW seemed more hands on and GW was more of… click at the right time kind of game….

I played WoW on my friend’s account, but then he stopped so of course, I stopped…

and I still have GW… but I can’t remember the email account that I used… I’ll have to dig that up somewhere… I know I have it… ><

i didn’t like Guild Wars, probably because I was playing off the download client (download maps when loading)
