For those that finished FFIX and watched AC

It striked me funny but now that I think about it, Sephiroth from AC disappears from the face of earth like Necron did.

Both of them wraps their "wings" around themselves and say the most weirdest words before disappearing.

I’d say Square thought that kind of end of a villain was awesome on FFIX so they did the same with Sephiroth in AC.

I mean I thought the way Necron died was pretty cool too.

On the contrary. Square Enix is known for creating reprises of a GREAT MANY things. 😛

If you would play a few FF’s, and actually paid attention, you would notice that Squeenix does reprise quite a few things, usually multiple times. Stuff as big as basic plot principles (the Crystal(s)), to stuff like moogles, the fanfare music, and spells. There is also the small fact that from FFI to FFIX, the battle system has received little more than cosmetic improvements.
