So what upcoming gigs/festivals have you guys got planned?
I was going to come to Leeds this year, but decided against it on account of the pretty bad setlist IMO.
I’m hoping that Mars Volta tour their upcoming album this year though <3
The Strokes, Arctic Monkeys, The Magic Numbers, Kaiser Chiefs, Franz Ferdinand, and Goldfrapp are but a few of the acts. Even the Who are making an appearence. Well, one or two original members and an assortment of Who-like robots, at any rate. Also, The Chilis are headlining~
I don’t know if you guys know it, but I’m planning on attending Roskilde Festival in Denmark. It is perhaps the biggest festival in Europe (or at least in Scandinavia). The program looks acceptable, so I’ll stop by.
excited about tool, yeah yeah yeahs, queens of the stone age,wu-tang clan, and others

And maybe more. =)
I’m actually looking to go to Glastonbury next year, along with seeing Iron Maiden this year and possibly the Download festival next year.
– Belle & Sebastian 17th July
– Pearl Jam in late September
– Depeche Mode & The Raveonettes next month
– The Legendary Tigerman once more in August
– The Yeah Yeah Yeah’s late August
– Lou Rhodes next week (former leadsinger f Lamb)
– Massive Attack 10th of July
– The Cult 12th Of July
– Sigur Rós 16th July
– Pixies 20th July
So between 10th and the 20th of July it’s going to be pretty awesome
And I think Milburn will be playing that day too, so cool cool~

For Pukkelpop (one of the better Belgian festivals, for your information 😉 )I’ll be surely going the first day, these are the (better) bands that’ll play that day:
Gomez, The Magic Numbers, Baby Shambles, Beck, Radiohead, Morningwood, Jos Gonzalez, My Morning Jacket, Turbonegro, Tortured Soul, Mocky, Infadels, The Knife, Zero 7, Dj Shadow, Tiga, CKY, Flatcat, Sick of it All, Rise and Fall, James Holden, Dr. Lektrolub, Tunng (don’t know them, but heard good critics about it), The Dead 60s, Mew, Regina Spektor, Nouvelle Vague, The Internationals, A Brand, and Sweet Coffee.
I know, but the chances of them playing in England again after that is quite slim. Plus, there are a few decent acts on that day which I wouldn’t mind seeing.

pitchfork festival has good bands, though
also: I think most people realize that Pitchfork has somewhat silly reviews but generally very good music news.
also: Recently saw the Fiery Furnaces with We Are Scientists and that was all kinds of awesome, the live show is way different but no less crazy and amazing for FF
I’ll also hopefully be seeing the Rapture around September, nothing official yet, but I’m trying to.
