I desparatly need help in FF4

I can’t beat the dark elf
any advice would be nice

The Dark Elf really isn’t that difficult, granted you are at a decent level. Are you remembering to re-equip all your armor and weapons after Edward removes the metallic seal with the Harp?

He kills me before Edward does anything

You do realize that the game is programmed to have the Dark Elf kill the party first, and THEN Edward weakens it? Meaning, you are supposed to be defeated.

Right.

You need to go to Castle Troia, and when you walk in, turn left at the first intersection and go down the stairs into the door. Edward will be there injured, and as you leave he’ll give you a Twin Harp. After you get this item, go back and fight the Dark Elf.

Haha don’t worry bro I did the same thing until I looked it up and I found out the Dark Elf has over 30,000 HP.

Then I figured out the harp thing.
