kind of impressed with the voice acting, even if it does really sound… braveheart / middle earth-ish

omg, this game looks awesome!!!!!!!!

i have a couple things to say:
-the voice acting does sound like it’s LotR and Star Wars fused together.
on the note of voice acting, from the trailer, Penelo sounds like Rikku, Vaan sounds like Tidus, and Ashe sounds like Yuna

-Ashe runs like Yuna in FFX

-did anyone else think that the part with the airship flying through the flames looked a bit like when the airship flew away from Home?

It reminds me a mixture of Lord of the rings, final fantasy VI and starwars. And there is the crystal in the video.Towards the end.
Yes, it looks a very nice game, it sure has its own atmosphere :).

Some notes i want make from this trailer (may contain spoilers):

"The Empire". Reminds me Final Fantasy 6.

In another part Ashe says: "You are a sky pirate arent you? Then steal me. Is that so much to ask?" It reminds me the scene with Garnet from IX: "I want to be kidnapped right away".

You can also see the crystal for 2-4 seconds in the trailer.

When i was watching the video i thought i was looking a movie.
It looks like Square collected all the good things from the series and made this game. And btw there is a guy who looks like Laguna :P.

That’s not the only similarities it shares with FFX.

tbh, the game just looks like a mix of IX and X to me. Game looks fun, but doesn’t live up to the new direction hype Square-Enix has been feeding us from what I can see though.

I think that’s what they’re trying to achieve. The voice acting fits the theme of the game( which looks more Lord of the Rings than FF tbh) quite well.

I honestly don’t know how that trailer makes you think LOTR. =/

It does appear that the trailer might be giving away a bit too much… And if you gave voice actors to the first FFT, they would’ve probably sounded very similar. Besides, the first FFT ripped off its own share of Lord of the Rings.
