So.. what was you’re favourite location from the FF games then? From the Neo-Future of FFVII to the steam powered FFIX, or maybe something a bit more classical, the medieval(ish) cultural mixup of FFV?

Personally, FFIX – I’m replaying the game atm, and am having so much fun, might start a diary. I particularly like the way the mist affects the continent to many normal people, how it offers believable alternate transports (within context,) the Roo’s etc. It could have extremely easily have just said "people travel." I like the idea of 3 civilisations at odds with each other. If I had to improve upon the game as a whole, I’d have added a similar structure on the Oelivert continent.

At first i was gonna pick 7, but.. do i really wanna live in a world that is in the early stages of recovery? and then i was all: 9! it’;s so medievel! that’s cool! but then i think about the food they may eat. no cheetos there. but then.. i thought about 8.. i mean.. yeah, there’s school, but ‘school is cool’. and you learn some mean tricks.

Even though V is probably my favorite FF, I like the world of FF VI most of all the FFs I’ve played.

Final Fantasy IX or Final Fantasy VII’s World.

My favorite was VI. VI’s world had plenty of cities, plenty of places to go and die/adventure in, and a huge tower that deifies Kefka. Apart form IX and V’s, none of the others had great appeal to me. I’d hate to live in I, II, or III’s worlds mostly because of the little there is to do. I’ve never played IV so I can’t comment on it. As someone said, VII was a world in danger of collapse, and VIII’s just didn’t feel right. As with VIII, X and X-2 weren’t medieval enough.

FFVI for certain. It’s big, filled with all sorts of towns/cities etc and Kefka’s tower right in the middle(at least I remember it being in the middle, might be wrong) sums it up nicely.

I’ll go for "Spira", unless "Mexican" was available…

Most definitely the FFIX world, although Spira is my second favourite.

I’ve absolutely loved visiting all the different locations in that game so far, particularly Treno, Lindblum and Alexandria. The detail is just fantastic IMO.
