I just bought it for my nintendo (w00t w00t) awhile ago, stupid seller cracked it though, but its fine, it still works perfectly. Anyway, i just started playing it, it seems like actually a really fun game. Im about to get to the third city, but you have to level up like CRAZY on this game. Still, really fun thuogh.

Anyone have any tips or suggestions that would make this game any more interesting?

For starters don’t try moving too fast. It shouldn’t take too long to beat so a little extra time here or there won’t hurt. Just try having fun and don’t zip through it. It is pretty easy so don’t worry about leveling up. Once you get the class upgrade things move much faster. And it is easier to level enemies with strong magic spells.

Ha, yeah, i forget that this is just an NES cartridge, i keep thinking its going to be a long epic. How do you get class upgrades?

Class upgrades comes from a certain thing later. I don’t think we should spoil it, but if you really wanna know.

Um, general strategy — just remember that this game doesn’t automatically retarget, so be careful before selecting attacks.

Yeah, don’t spoil it 😀

But yeah! That retargetting thing ineffective whatever really sucks. I’m still in the habit of just holding down a button to attack, so i find myself wasting entire rounds on nothing.

My fighter is really strong, he usually does about 80-120 pts of damage every round, where as my black belt gets lucky when he does 40 and my mages are a fighting waste of course. But is there something i’m not equipping my Black Belt that would make him stronger?

The Monk gets stronger later. Don’t give him any equipment whatsoever. Soon he will be doing more damage (and if I remember right recieve less damage) than the fighter for an extremely low price. He is definately a worthy ally. He just starts out weak. Don’t plan on him being strong before level 15 I think.

I didn’t use a monk, maybe i will my next play through. I hate it when a character is slain. I can’t bring them back without going back to a town or village. But this is a great game.
