ok ive played and beaten all 3 jaks except the only thing i dont understand is the time plot

So Jak is born in the future
He is then hidden in the past to one day come into the future and fullfil his destiny
He grows up and goes to the future and sees his young self
Then his young self goes back to the past to one day fullfil the destiny that the Jak he already met did

BUT where the hell does Mar come into this!?
Jak is Mar
Mar created Haven City
but that doesnt make sense given that there arent 2 jaks or something like that!!
im confused 🙁

Lol i just finished the Jak III for the second time before seeing this thread, now this is a time cycle, theres Mar son of Damos( Jak), then we have Jak from Jak I, Jak from Jak I goes to the past where he meets the son of Damos and this one goes to another "world" where he grows, Jak remains there and beats Errol then the precursors ask for Jak’s help, he refuses at START so we don’t know if he ever goes with the precursors, the precursors themselves don’t know where to start so it’s obvious that Jak will probably go back to the past and BE Mar and found Haven City, now for the script:

2nd Ottsel: But dude, there are like way more challenges in the future.

3rd Ottsel: Duh… or was it the past?

1st Ottsel: Yes! Yes! I was getting to that.

Jak: More adventures? Where have I heard that before.

1st Ottsel: We need heroes like you to help us protect the universe, Jak.

Jak: Then you can call me by my first name… by what my father called me, Mar.

Ashelin: Wait, Jak is Mar? The Mar?

1st Ottsel: Come then Mar, no time like the present.

This way we know that Jak is going to do some time travels and become the Mar, this is the Time spiral, the Ying and Yang type of Symbol of the House of Mar can signify the time spiral and the first of the House of Mar is also the Last and the spiral is never-stopping well this is my opinion on the events

BTW, i found a glitch in the game after ending the game i started a new one and i beggined the game in the final scene of Act 1 after beating the Precursor, without weapons, orbs, time and % completion, like i started anew in a new place, i can’t go anywhere since i’m in a platform surronded by nothing, can somebody tell me what this glitch is?

Maybe if u read the liitle giude booklets that came with the game…
