Adverts in games: Do they annoy you?

This is an aspect in gaming that will no doubt be on the rise. But do the adverts bother you?. Now personaly it doesn`t matter to me if, it stays in the context and world of the game and, if it isn`t over the top.

I remember in Splinter Cell:Chaos Theory i had to repell down a wall iirc and covering the entire wall was a massive advert for some chewing gum, sry, can`t remember the name. But the point is, it was completely over the top.

How do you feel about this aspect in gaming?.

I don’t mind the adverts yet. But as you said, they will probably on the rise on the future. Having things here or there isn’t a problem, especially in the context of the, but when they start appearing everywhere for no apparent reason I’ll be unhappy.

Soldat on the hood of some race cars in Ridge Racer for the PSP. lol

Also: no, I don’t care, cos usually don’t pay attention to them.

imo it isnt too bad, I guess it is just extra detail to what already may be an ultra realistic game enviroment such as Racing sims ect
