W-item materia, is it possible to….

Hey guys,

I was so focused on getting all command materias that I totally forgot to pick up W-item materia after I fought the Turks under midgar.

Is it possible to get back there later on??

Well that’s pretty f*cked up right there.

Do I need that materia to be able to get my master materia later on in cosmo canyon??

I read somewhere that of the command materia’s you don’t need all of them to get the master materia, but can’t seem to find it, anyone know??

As I remember, you do need all the Command Materia. I could be wrong, but thats what I remember.

Well as I remember you only needed certain ones.

I’m not sure but I dont think it is necessary.

Well some you cannot master like enemy skill, but yeah you do need to master W-Item to get the master command.

Just beat Emerald Weapon and get the master materia that way.

Master Command

Master Magic gives a character access to all of the basic commands by simply equipping one materia, without any status effects. It will not give you Enemy Skills or W-Abilities, but is still quite useful.To obtain Master Command, master the command materia Steal, Morph, Deathblow, Throw, Manipulate, Mime and Sense. If you found the Huge Command Materia, choose to get close to it and it will ask you if you wish to perform a Materia Blend. Choose yes and you will receive one Master Command materia. You will lose all 7 of the individual mastered materia, but since a new materia is born when one is mastered, you can master them all again if you wish to get another Master Command materia. Alternatively, speak to the traveler in the house at Kalm after receiving the Earth Harp for defeating Emerald Weapon and he will give you a set of all three Master materia.

I just beat Emerald for it.He is pretty hard yeah.I got killed once wheh I had final attack pheonix equiped but it didnt work casue i ran out of mp.lol.

Ruby Weapon is actually easier because you would`ve taken on Emerald first and got all 3 Masteria materia which you can then use on Ruby making him far easier.

you should put pheonix with ‘added effect’ it’ll help alot when it comes to fighting the weapons
