Tifa or Aeris’ Theme… which one is the truly the best?

The thread is simple enough i hope… Which theme is truly the best… is it the lovely and cute Tifa’s Theme, or the sad and emotional Aeris’ Theme!!!

I personally right now like Aeris’ Theme Only because it’s a lot more easier to play on the piano than Tifa’s Theme (yes, both are the original pieaces and feature in FFAC ^_^)… But once i master Tifa’s ^____^ hehe

Well you cant judge the quality of a composition on how well you can play it on the piano.

As for the question you asked, I choose Aeriths theme.

true… but if you play it on the piano… u can see all the different elements of the song, you can see how much hard wokr, how much pain has gone into every note and u can break it into different phrases and see how well it sounds and how good it was actually composed ( which turns out they are both masterpieces) ^___^

Well that is a good point actually, I never really thought about it that way. I have played both on the guitar (arranged of coourse) and it never really hit me how good they were… I always thought they were OK only. But I am not much of an Uematsu fan…hahaha

I play it note by note along with chords. Notice I said, "Arranged". Its sort of like a melodic arrangement with a solo of the most catchy segment in the track.

Hoo boy…I’m gonna vote Tifa’s song, mostly because Aeris’ tune is pretty much nicked from FF6, that doesn’t make it bad tho…I’ve just heard it too much.
So yeah, I guess as it stands, i like Tifa’s song better, it’s more…hmmm…wholesome, has a good homely feel to it I guess
