Theory about Rude and Reno *Spoilers*

I just want to clarify of something that has happened in the movie, so after I have been watching the movie of FF:AC. I was a bit confused about the scene when Rude and Reno were preparing to throw the generated bombs inside the tunnel when Cloud with his motorbike has past Rude and Reno on the road. So the tunnel got blew up, Rude, Reno and the two white guys got obviously killed in the incident, correct?

If all of this was true, then I don’t see any reasons why did Rude and Reno had to kill themseleves >_____>. It was very sad because they were the good characters in the movie, oh well 🙁

Um, yeah, me confused as I thought I saw R&R at Rufus’ side when his geostigma was healing in teh rain.
If u watched to the end, Yazoo and Loz, those two white guys, didn;t die as they attacked Cloud with materia…hmmmm

What I also want to know is, was it Tseng and Elena who fired those hammock-catching devices to save Rufus frm hitting the ground?

And is it me or does the bikes seem to be lightweight super-manuverable. They toss them around like they were made of polystyrene……someone at the motion department needs to play with toy motorbikes more oftn. Sometimes when the chars rode past the screen which panned to follow, they don;t seem fast enough….tho they are slowing down, still.

Whas up with the ending creds? Right at the end when Cloud takes a ride to somewhere. Reminds me of the song "…head out on the highway….

Remember when Reno asked if it was powerful, but Rude said donno but it’s flashy? If you’ll notice as Cloud went over the highway, they were fireworks.

Hm, but during the scene. Reno was holding the bomb, and Rude had the flash bomb, so they threw them and then blew up on the highway. I doubt they were fireworks because they were somewhat big explosions.

After that, I haven’t seen Rude and Reno since the incident. I may be wrong but i’m gonna watch again.

You see them at the end when it’s raining and Rufus is being cured of Geostigma. There standing there with Tseng and Elena.

Yeah i know, but i thought that was Rude that asked Reno about the Firepower of the bomb, i’m almost certain i’m wrong because i saw the movie without sound( my pc is having problems) and in some parts i didn’t understood who was talking

I didn’t know that Reno was the guy wit the red hair until later on in the movie, mainly cause in the game his hair wasn’t as red as it is in the movie, so I sat there wondering, "who the hell are they calling Reno? couldn’t be that guy with the red hair could it?" Or maybe its just me that had difficulties…. anyone else?

On the topic of motorbike manouverability, you’re wondering how they can move bikes like they’re nothing. How do you think they can do magic and jump really high and Summon Monsters huh?……

The bombs were pipe bombs. They were set on the road, Reno and Rude were no where near them when they went off. Hence why they aren’t dead, wounded or even have slight little scorches on their suits.

Yes, it was Tseng and Elena that saved Rufus. Apparently their injuries were not as bad as Vincent made them out to be.

if grenades and other bombs can be thrown off you in FF7 and you still live then a flashbang explosive cannot do fatal harm can it?

It seemed it was meant to divert the SHM so Cloud could get them or something like that.

Didn’t seem like they had enough time to escape though lol. They had to get into the chopper, start it up, fly a good distance away, and all in a few seconds. Good work turks, very efficient.

And i didn’t have that problem at all Tryphloznix. Reno’s always with rude and the only character in the game with red hair (besides RedXIII)
