Speed up time – It will sound better!

I have known this for a long time, and am quite sure a few of you will know this also. Take a song you like. Now, play it at a tempo of 1.4 (where 1 is normal playback speed). In other words, increase its tempo by 40% (DO NOT INCREASE SPEED. IT IS TEMPO. IF YOU INCREASE SPEED, IT WILL SOUND LIKE WHEN YOU PLAY A TAPE WITH THE FAST FORWARD AND PLAY BUTTON HELD DOWN AT THE SAME TIME. Or, if your lucky, it might sound even better). It sounds better! At least, most do. Btw, don’t choose the fastest technoey song you can find cos that really will sound crap. I don’t have anywhere to host a sample, but it would be cool if somebody else posts one of their "better" tunes. Post what sounds cool, funny, or just down right C R A P (That better not have wrapped over the page. Damnit I think it has. Well, you know what it is meant to say!).

OMG, MCR ON SPEED LOLZ. Seriousy though, speeding songs up a little is fine in most cases but sometimes it just destroys everything and makes the sound incoherent and fuzzy.

I chose ‘Cold Hate, Warm Blood’ by Cryptopsy and it just sounds like a song skipping over and over due to the fast drums just get even faster. Slightly humourous though.
