Hooray for Aussies that can now import games for modded Playstations and PS2’s without fear of going to jail over it.

Pfft. There was never really any fear for the customers of mod-chips – the people who sold them were the only ones at threat.

However, this is good news – it means that mod-chip installation will now come down in price again. It’s been AU$120 since the law suit, so i’m hoping it will drop back down to AU$30 – when that happens, i’ll be getting my PS2 chipped and importing FF Tactics and Katamari Damacy for sure.

Now if they’d just lose in their attempt to sue Lik-Sang.

Now if they’d just lose in their attempt to sue Lik-Sang.

Amen. They’ve got a couple of minor importers notched up under their belt, though =/

If they shut down lik-sang, i’m screwed – all of my local importers get stuff through them <.<
