Of course, your opinion (and that of similar hopeless fanboys/fangirls) is the only place that view holds any validity. Advent Children was an utter failure in terms of nearly every technical merit imaginable and could never be enjoyed by someone who truly appreciates good filmmaking, whereas Spirits Within managed to be a fairly engaging and self-contained sci-fi flick on its own merits without needing to be associated with an outdated, yet overhyped game.

it was the BEST movie i’ve ever seen. it rocks it’s … just the BEST

No Final Fantasy fan in the world could fail to be inspired by this movie.
To hear somebody say these things about a franchise that has changed my outlook on life so much is hurtful.
Perhaps if you weren’t a final fantasy fan in the first place you shouldn’t have seen this movie.
